Canberra's Archbishop Christopher Prowse to visit refugees in middle east

Canberra's Archbishop Christopher Prowse will personally deliver humanitarium aid to refugees during a tour of the Middle East next week.

A day of solidarity will be held in Canberra on Sunday to raise money for the expedition, which will travel to Lebanon, Kurdistan and Iraq.

Archbishop Prowse will travel with a group including Hobart's Archbishop Julian Porteous and three other bishops from New South Wales.

The delegation will depart on December 14 for one week and return in time to spend Christmas in their dioceses.
