The discovery was made after they received a report at 5.30pm that a home in Aida Ball Circuit was not secure, with its garage door open.
Police responded and noticed property commonly associated with growing cannabis, when they entered the house they said they smelt "a strong odour believed to be cannabis".
Detectives then returned after obtaining a search warrant.
Police said about 70 small cannabis seedlings were found in a grow tent in one of the bedrooms and at least 30 mature cannabis plants were located beneath "a sophisticated artificial growing setup" in another bedroom.
Police said the setup included lights and irrigation systems on electric timers and air and ozone filters.
