Cannabis grow house found in Richardson

A 48-year-old man will be charged after police found a cannabis grow house in Tuggeranong on Thursday night. 

Tuggeranong police were notified of a disturbance at the Richardson residence about 10.30pm, and found a sophisticated hydroponics system.

"The search of the entire premises revealed seven cannabis plants, 13 seedlings, one cannabis plant approximately 180 centimetres in height, dried cannabis and white powder believed to be amphetamine," a police statement said.

The man was to be summonsed to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court where it was expected he would face three drug related charges, police said.
