The teen faced the ACT Children's Court earlier today charged with dangerous driving, driving unlicenced, failing to stop when directed and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
Police arrested the girl after allegedly spotting a white Mitsubishi Lancer speeding along Ginninderra Drive shortly before midnight.
It is alleged the officers flashed their lights and sounded the sirens but the driver refused to pull over, speeding away at speeds of almost 130km/h in an 80-zone.
But police said at the Mouat Street intersection the car sped through a red-light, lost control at a corner and crashed into a traffic island.
The girl was allegedly arrested at the scene but released on police bail to appear before Magistrate Karen Fryar today, where she did not enter pleas.
The matter is due back in court next month.
