The driver’s Nissan 200SX was first spotted by an NSW highway patrol officer on the Monaro Highway in Theodore about 12.10am on Saturday.
The Nissan entered the Johnson Drive roundabout and began to slide sideways, completing two full revolutions before driving off in front of the police vehicle.
The officer stopped the car on Tharwa Drive and informed ACT Policing, with officers attending and seizing the vehicle.
The 23-year-old man will be summonsed to appear before the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.
