The ACT government said the capital's free Wi-Fi network had gone live at EPIC.
CBRfree Wi-Fi is being rolled out to parts of the capital as part of the government's Digital Canberra plan.
The network will be available outdoors at EPIC and in the Budawang Building during this year's car festival, which starts on January 1.
The CBRfree public network will be available in the rest of the park's pavilions later next year.
The first part of the CBRfree network went live in Garema Place in Civic East in October.
It allows people to download up to 250 megabytes of data a day.
The territory government reports a booming number of Canberrans have accessed the service in recent months.
More than 16,000 people made use of the city's free Wi-Fi in November, which was an increase of more than 3000 people who used it in October.
In that time there was also a 50 per cent jump in the total amount of time users spent online.
CBRfree Wi-Fi provides users with 7.5 gigabytes a month.
That translates to being able to send about 15,000 emails, make 1500 Facebook posts, download 525 songs or 1500 photos.
Internet provider iiNet was contracted to provide Wi-Fi spots around the capital and said it would be the largest program in Australia.
The government will announce which areas outside of the CBD will receive free Wi-Fi early next year.
