Firefighters are pulling the roof off a change room building at Gowrie after it was damaged in a fire.

ACT Fire and Rescue was called to the fire on Budgen Avenue just after 11.30am and extinguished it by 12.45pm.

When firefighters they arrived, the change room building was fully alight, an emergency services spokesman said.
"The Bronto is now being used to help remove the roofing to ensure there are no pockets of fire remaining in the roof space," he said.

"ACT Fire & Rescue also responded with three fire trucks and a commander."
