A Torrens man has been charged with possession of child exploitation images on his computer tablet.

ACT Policing say the tablet was found in a Canberra pet store on Friday. The exploitative images were found on the device when a staff member attempted to identify the tablet’s owner.
The 31-year-old man who police will allege owns the tablet, was arrested on Saturday, when he went to reclaim his property.
Police searched the man’s home and seized a computer and other storage devices which will be subject to a computer forensic analysis.
The man will appear in the ACT Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
