Accused killer Christopher David Navin was guarded and appeared to withhold information when he met with a doctor in the weeks after he fatally stabbed Nicholas Sofer-Schreiber, a court has heard.

The psychiatric registrar told Navin's ACT Supreme Court murder trial that the defendant kept looking into a corner of the room as if something had "caught his eye" when she assessed him in January 2014.
She became concerned he was masking "background behaviour", such as hearing voices, but he did not respond when questioned.
Navin, 29, is on trial in the Supreme Court for the murder of Mr Sofer-Schreiber.
He has pleaded not guilty to Mr Sofer-Schreiber's murder due to mental impairment.
A mental health nurse, who visited Navin only days before the alleged murder after he quit his job with claims he could hear voices, said the accused displayed no odd behaviour.
She said his speech had been normal, he had been pleasant and polite, and behaviour had been appropriate.
Earlier in the day, Navin's defence barrister, Stuart Littlemore, QC, handed the jury a list of admissions from his client, which admitted his client had caused Mr Sofer-Schreiber's death.
Mr Littlemore read out the document on day nine of Navin's murder trial before Justice John Burns.
The silk said Navin had attacked Mr Sofer-Schreiber with a small paring knife in his Lyneham home on Boxing Day 2013.
He then walked to the kitchen, leaving a trail of bloody footprints, and turned on the light, leaving behind his DNA.
Navin then took a tent and camp chair, changed clothes, and drove to a northern NSW property, where he burnt the knives and tossed them in a dam.
Police divers later recovered the blades.
Mr Sofer-Schreiber was found by friends two days later.
The Crown alleges Navin blamed his former housemate for perceived social exclusion and murdered Mr Sofer-Schreiber in revenge.
The court on Thursday also heard from a police fingerprint expert who said a single print of Navin's had been found under a coffee table at the Hall Street unit.
But she admitted it could have been left behind from when Navin lived at the property earlier in 2013.
Mr Littlemore put a version of events to her where his client had attacked Mr Sofer-Schreiber from behind with the paring knife as soon as he entered the unit.
He then got a larger knife from an open drawer in the kitchen and used it to again stab Mr Sofer-Schreiber, who had been laying prone on the floor.
He then left, closing the door behind him.
The expert agreed that the version of events would leave few fingerprints.
She said a number of smudged, unusable prints had been located on the door.
She said no areas of the crime scene had been obviously wiped clean of prints.
The trial continues on Friday.
