Clear skies and sunshine are forecast for Sunday when the inaugural Majura Valley Bush Festival will be held on the property Springfield on Majura Road from 9.30am to 4.30pm.

The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting a top temperature of 19 degrees, sunny skies and almost no chance of rain.
Perfect for getting the family out for a unique festival showcasing the rural heritage of the Majura Valley. Think vintage machinery (which the kids can climb on), Cobb and Co carriage rides, stock horse races, shearing demonstrations, petting zoo and more.
Majura Road will be shut for the occasion from the the Mustang Avenue roundabout in the south to the Tambreet Street roundabout in the north, allowing festival goers to amble safely along the road. Cars can be parked in a nearby paddock.
It will also be something of a must-do for foodies with local wine and produce on show and available for a sample, including from the Mount Majura Vineyard and Majura Honey as well as good, old-fashioned devonshire teas.
Festival organiser Sherry McArdle-English also tells us she has selected a charity to support on the day, and into the future, the very worthy outfit, Friends of Brain Injured Children.
"They were thrilled when we contacted them, and we will provide a marquee of their own on the day," she said.
The cost of entry to the festival is $10 per car. Tickets are only available through Eventbrite. There will be no ticket sales on the day.
