A 35-year-old man involved in a collision between a car and truck in Canberra's north on Tuesday has been declared deceased in hospital.

The crash happened at the intersection of the Federal Highway and Majura Road at about 11.15am.
The man was driving a Toyota Camry and was rushed to Canberra Hospital where he was declared deceased late this afternoon.
The driver of the truck was hospitalised with significant leg injuries
