Emergency crews have extinguished a grass fire in Palmerston which started on Saturday afternoon, with flames reaching heights of up to three metres.

Firefighters were called to the scene at the Gungaderra Grasslands Nature Reserve near Wambo Close at 5.45pm, with crews putting out the blaze just before 7pm.
No properties were at risk during the fire, which burned an area of 2500 square metres.
A spokeswoman for the ACT Emergency Services Agency said 12 firefighting crews attended the blaze, with some staying on site throughout the night to monitor conditions and to clear damage.
The fire danger rating in the ACT is forecasted to be low-moderate from Sunday to Wednesday.
