Paramedics treated the 19-year-old woman at the scene for head and pelvic injuries.
She has been taken to hospital in a stable condition.
An ACT Policing spokeswoman said the woman was hit by a truck.
Police and paramedics attended and the road was closed, but was reopened shortly before 4pm.
It is the second time in a week that a pedestrian or cyclist has been hit by a vehicle on Constitution Avenue.
A 44-year-old woman was taken to Canberra Hospital on Thursday morning after she was hit by a car on Constitution Avenue in Reid.
The woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in an ambulance in a stable condition, emergency services said.
