We got a sneak peek of the almost-sold-out dance work Nervous, which is being performed in the burnt-out shell of one of the telescope observatory domes.
And as you can see, it makes for a pretty amazing venue.
As the performance goes on, the skies darken and the audience can watch the stars come out as they also watch the dancers.
It's the work of the newly-formed Canberra contemporary dance company The Australian Dance Party.
"Party leader" Alison Plevey worked with ANU neuroscientist Greg Stuart to draw connections between the neurological functions of the brain to the networks of the planet and cosmos.
The result is a "dance, laser light, electronic music and science experience of nervousness".
And performing in the dome just capped it all off.
"It's pretty incredible," she said, of the venue.
