Store founder Manfred Obermeder said it was handmade milk chocolate and weighed 10 kilograms.
It stands over a metre in height and was created by the Dolci Doro company. It will go to a lucky customer when their name is pulled out of a hat on Easter Saturday.
Mr Obermeder said he had ordered two more of the eggs for customers in Canberra.
The Easter bunny's big day is less than a month away and there are plenty of fun things to do in the capital to celebrate the occasion.
Canberra children will have their chance to find out how many eggs they can spot in the Lanyon Homestead garden on Easter Sunday morning.
Thousands of eggs will be stashed high and low for an Easter egg hunt, supported by Darrell Lea. There will be a special search area for children aged six and under and a separate space for those aged seven-12.
Entry to the hunt costs $10 a family and bookings are essential and can be made through ACT Museums and Galleries.
Children can enjoy Easter Sunday at the Australian National Botanic Gardens, Canberra, with Bush Magic: Bilby stories scheduled for Friday, April 6 at 10-11am, at the cost of $2 a child.
