Witnesses called police after seeing three boys, described as being in their early teens, jumping on top of vehicles at the car wash on the corner of Lonsdale and Elouera streets in Braddon about midnight on Saturday.

Officers attended the area but the trio could not be found.

Later that morning, ACT Policing received reports that eight cars at the Braddon Auto Mart on Lonsdale Street were damaged, with visible dents on the roof of each car.
