Investigators compiled the facefit composite from witnesses who allegedly saw the man walking north along Sutton Road at Majura and east along Norton Road at Wamboin the night Mr Carville disappeared.

Police are now calling for more witnesses who may have seen the man near Mr Carville's home in Sproule Circuit, Evatt, on November 4, on Sutton Road, Majura, or in the Molonglo Gorge at Kowen Pine Forest on November 13 to 14.

The man is described as being between 25 and 30 years of age, between 180 and 186cm tall and of a solid build.

Witnesses say he had an olive complexion, short black hair, brown eyes and dark eyebrows.

Homicide detectives have not made any arrests in the three months since Mr Carville was last seen on November 4.

His body was recovered in grassland at Majura on November 19.

Investigations have focused on Mr Carville's movements on November 4 and detectives have fingered Mr Carville's former house mate and the male owner of a ute found dumped at Molonglo Gorge as suspects in his killing.
