Corey Power and with his daughter Jaela.
Corey Power has been farewelled by his family, almost one month after he was found badly injured and unconscious in Young.
Police launched a murder investigation shortly after the 33-year-old was found unconscious on Wombat Street in the early hours of August 29.
Mr Power was assessed on scene for severe head injuries before being taken to hospital, where he died a short time later.
The former Canberran had moved to Young less than a week before his death, to be closer to his four-year-old daughter Jaela.
Mr Power's family have urged the public's help in helping police find those responsible for his death.
"Those responsible for his death have robbed a little girl of a future with her loving and adoring father," his sister Phia Power said.
Family and friends were invited to a prayer service at St Mary's Catholic Church in Young on Friday, before a private cremation at Goulburn.
Anyone with information on the death of Corey Power is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. Information can be provided anonymously.
