Female attacker punched woman and stole necklace

Police want to speak with anyone who may have seen a woman punching another woman in a car park at Phillip on Tuesday morning.

The attack happened on Furzer Street at about 11.35am, just after the victim had parked her car.

Police say the offender opened victim’s door and began punching her, before stealing her necklace.

A man who was passing by stopped to assist the woman who was being attacked and the offender drove away in a silver Holden Astra.

The incident was reported at 4pm on Wednesday.

Police would like to speak with the man who came to the woman’s assistance and have urged him to contact Woden Police Station on 6256 7777.
