Emergency Services say she suffered head injuries and a fractured leg and was taken to the Canberra Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Intensive Care Staff attended the scene and found she had ran after her dog onto Macarthur Avenue, outside St Joseph's Church, during an afternoon walk.
