Gray skies have cleared to reveal a beautiful Canberra day for the start of Floriade. Thousands of visitors turned out on Saturday morning to walk among spectacular flower displays and watch live performances. The free event has attracted visitors from all over Australia, with many stopping to shop at the Floriade markets and play in cubby houses which will be later auctioned for charity.
