A former federal police officer accused of using protected information to stalk his ex-girlfriend has been charged with three new offences of accessing restricted data.

Former Soviet Union soldier Roman Eiginson, 52, is now facing six charges in the ACT Magistrates Court, including the stalking of his former partner.
Eiginson, who worked with the Australian Federal Police at the time, began a relationship with the woman in mid-2009.
But the romance soured in March when Eiginson married a woman from Russia.
After the split, Eiginson allegedly continued to harass his ex-girlfriend.
He is accused of accessing a police database to log on and collect information about his ex-girlfriend and her new partner.
The information, it is alleged, helped him find her phone number and address.
Eiginson allegedly drove his car slowly up and down the street of the couple's house.
He is also accused of slashing her new partner's tyres, before logging on to check the police report about the incident later that day.
Police found Eiginson allegedly hiding behind a tree about 30 metres from the couple's home in April.
Officers say they told him to leave but allegedly found him sitting in a car close to the home a short time later.
Eiginson, represented by lawyer Michael Kukulies-Smith, appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Tuesday before Magistrate Karen Fryar.
He was charged with three new offences relating to the access of restricted data on April 15, 16, and 17 this year.
No pleas were entered to the new charges, and the matter was adjourned to next month.
Mr Kukulies-Smith said he was yet to see the brief of evidence against his client.
The court was informed the evidence was ready, and would soon be with the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Eiginson formerly worked with AFP counter-terrorism, but later moved to the agency's treasury section.
