ACT Fire and Rescue and the ACT Ambulance Service arrived at the collision, at the intersection of Kuringa and Tillyard drives about 4.30pm.
Crews were using hydraulic rescue tools to free one male patient from a vehicle.
Just before 5pm, four people – three men in their 20s and a woman in her 40s – were transported to the Canberra Hospital by ambulances.
Injuries for all four people were believed to be minor.
