A man drowned on the south coast after suffering a medical episode in the water. The bodyboarder's death was one of two on the NSW coast on New Year's Eve.

Surfers pulled the 32-year-old victim ashore at Inyadda Beach, Bendalong, about 30 kilometres north of Ulladulla.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman said a doctor who was at the beach administered CPR until paramedics arrived.
They spent about 20 minutes trying to revive the man but he died at the scene.
The man is believed to be from Flinders in southern Wollongong.
On Sydney's northern beaches, a snorkeller found an unconscious man in his mid-20s floating near the Manly Wharf. Ambulance crews tried to revive him without success.
Police said the man was believed to be a Korean who had been swimming with friends who lost sight of him when they reached shore.
Police also recovered the body of a 29-year-old man from a river near Griffith on Monday. The man fell from his canoe on the Murrumbidgee River on Sunday and did not resurface.
A woman's body was found in Sydney Harbour after she went missing from her family's cruiser anchored in Rose Bay.
The 49-year-old mother of two from Sydney's north shore was last seen around midnight on Sunday on the 12-metre boat.
Police believe the woman, her husband and their 14-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter picked the vantage point in preparation for Monday night's New Year's Eve fireworks.
The woman's husband raised the alarm at 2am when he could not find her. Police retrieved her body from under a nearby jetty at about 6.15am. AAP
