Four teenagers who were caught driving a stolen car by the car's owner will have to come face to face with the owner again after being referred to undergo restorative justice.

ACT Policing said they received a report from a member of the public that their car had been stolen at about 8.30pm in Rivett on Saturday.
The owner noticed his car being driven along Cotter Road at about 11.45am the next day and followed them, confronting them when their car came to a stop.
"The teenagers then fled on foot," an ACT Policing spokesperson said.
When police arrived at the scene, they started a search and apprehended the teens a short time later "following an additional witness report of suspicious activity".
The teenagers were charged with the theft of a motor vehicle and sent to restorative justice, where criminals meet with the victims of their crimes in an effort to encourage the offenders to take responsibility for their actions.
Station Sergeant Harry Hains of Woden Police Station thanked the people who contacted police.
"The community is our eyes and ears," Station Sergeant Hains said.
"If you see someone acting suspiciously, we ask you to contact 131 444 for police assistance or report via Crime Stoppers."
