Waste and recycling collection services scheduled for Thursday, June 22, will be affected between 8.30am and 12.30pm to allow drivers the opportunity to attend the funeral of a colleague, the ACT government says.

Residents of Aranda, Belconnen, Bruce, Cook, Evatt (south of Clancy Street), Dunlop (south of Ginninderra Drive), Florey, Giralang, Hawker, Higgins, Holt, Kaleen, Latham, Lawson, North Lyneham, Macgregor, Macquarie, McKellar, Page, Scullin and Weetangera may have their general waste collection service disrupted.
If your bin is not collected on Thursday, please leave it at the kerb for collection on Saturday, June 24.

Jason Stewart, ACT manager for garbage contractor SUEZ, joined the ACT government in asking affected residents for their consideration during this time.
"A SUEZ colleague passed away unexpectedly from a non-work related incident last week. We offer our condolences to the family and wish to respect their privacy during this difficult time," Mr Stewart said.
