National Parks and Catchments regional manager Brett McNamara said rangers had obtained images of a group of men forcing entry through a gate about 5.30am on Saturday, June 13.
"Vision was recorded which clearly shows a group cut through a gate to access the national park," Mr McNamara said.
"Thousands of dollars of locks, gates and other infrastructure has been damaged or stolen over the last month as a result of people illegally accessing the national park."
ACT Policing Rural Patrol members are looking for the men who they believe can assist with the investigation.
Meanwhile, rangers are also worried pig hunting is being carried out in Namadgi.
on Mount Franklin Road captured the vision at 8.19am, Saturday May 23.
"Unfortunately, the owner of the vehicle covered up the number plate," he said.
"Over time rangers have detected pigs which have been released into the wild and the dogs are then used, ready to attack and hunt them down, which causes massive damage to the environment."
Mr McNamara urged anyone with information about pig hunting to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via act.crimestoppers.com.au
Police have also urged anyone who can identify the men in the gate-cutting images to contact
