The developer of the Giralang shops is set to hold a forum next month to allay fears about the future of the neglected site.

The shops have lain dormant for more than a decade after its redevelopment was challenged in the courts by three surrounding supermarket owners.
The challenge was thrown out last year but by then, their anchor tenant Woolworths had pulled out because of a shift in national strategy.
It is understood the development is unlikely to progress without an anchor tenant
Aldi recently confirmed they had no plans to open a supermarket there either.
Labor MLA Suzanne Orr said it was encouraging the developer was "taking serious steps to finally talk with the community".
"It is the responsibility of the developer to submit a new development application and initiate consultation with the community on any proposal," Ms Orr said.
"On a number of occasions I have strongly encouraged the developer to begin his development application and openly discuss his plans with the community."
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 5 at 6pm at the Giralang Community Centre, 1 Hirst Place Giralang.
