Greens senator Richard Di Natale will introduce legislation to ban the practice, in a move he says will lead to greater transparency.
''(It) would ban the practice of flying doctors to five-star resorts in places such as Hawaii under the guise of education, and would also ensure that payments to doctors who consult for drug companies or speak at conferences are disclosed,'' he said.
