She will join singer-songwriters Matt Corby, Megan Washington and Lior on the lawns of Parliament House on Saturday week.
Brown is obviously in demand - the Australian-born musician is also playing a gig in Brisbane later the same night. Her performance at the Eatons Hill Hotel in Brisbane is not due to start until 11pm, which means she will take to the stage in both the ACT and Queensland in one night.
The Canberra event encompasses the Australian of the Year awards and will start at 5pm with a one-hour tribute to the outgoing recipients. The concert is due to start after 7pm. A spokeswoman said Brown had been booked first to appear in Brisbane but her team then made her available for the Canberra event as well.
National Australia Day Council chief executive Jeremy Lasek said he was confident the big concert would have something for everyone.
''We really pride ourselves on delivering an event that appeals to all ages,'' he said.
''With Havana Brown on the same bill as Matt Corby, Megan Washington and Lior, we are in for a night of incredible performances that showcase the diversity of our home-grown Australian talent.''
The concert site will be open to the public from 3pm. Entry is free.
