The Emergency Services Agency said about four hectares of bushland between Adelaide Avenue and the State Circle would be burnt between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, weather permitting.

Fire tankers, pumpers and three support vehicles will be at the scene.

At the same time, firefighters plan to burn about 2.5 hectares in grassland between Drakeford Drive and Covenant College in Gordon, with four fire tankers and a support vehicle at the scene.
