A 22-year-old man has become the first road fatality of the year for the ACT, after succumbing to his injuries following a crash in Macgregor on Sunday.

The Higgins man was a passenger in a Mitsubishi Triton utility, which rolled on its side after the driver lost control at the intersection of Cannan Crescent and Constance Stone Street about 12.45am.
The 22-year-old man was taken to The Canberra Hospital with serious head injuries, but died on Monday afternoon.
The driver was not injured in the crash.
ACT Policing's Investigation and Reconstruction Team are yet to determine the cause of the crash, and are preparing a report for the coroner.
The man is the first person to die on ACT roads this year.
