A man has been left with a broken collar bone and shoulder blade after a hit and run in Canberra's south in the early hours of Friday morning.

Police continue to search for witnesses after a vehicle hit pedestrian David Todd, from Richardson, at the intersection of Barraclough Crescent and Ashley Drive, Monash.
At about 1.40am ACT Policing received a report a 28-year-old man had turned up at Canberra Hospital with serious injuries.
It is believed a vehicle hit Mr Todd at 12:10am and that the vehicle fled the scene, police said in a statement. Mr Todd could not describe the vehicle. Speaking from the hospital on Saturday, he said he had suffered mild concussion and was set to have surgery to repair the broken bones on Sunday.
