Rebecca Peters appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday morning and was granted bail by Chief Magistrate Lorraine Walker, despite objections from the prosecution.

About 11.20am on Saturday, police seized the drugs and $6303 from the Holt property and arrested Peters before she was taken to the ACT Watch House and charged with drug trafficking.

According to police, drug paraphernalia was also seized along with a large amount of jewellery.

A police informant told the court Peters had "a long history" of drug use and alleged she had no means of income other than drug trafficking.

But Peters' lawyer said she did not tell the police she was unemployed and has been working two to three days per week as a cleaner, earning up to $1000 a week.

The court also heard another man was at the property during the search and was questioned by police.

Ms Walker told the court the accused had "upped the ante", with Peters due to appear in court for possession charges next month.

According to the defence, Peters has acknowledged she has an issue with drugs and was "willing and eager to" co-operate with all bail conditions.

Ms Walker said the prosecution's case had "good grounds" although more evidence was needed before it could be considered strong.

Peters was granted bail under the condition she undertook drug tests, did not visit the Holt property, and agreed to supervision.

She will return to the ACT Magistrates Court on April 13 and is expected to enter a plea.
