The trade in second-hand items, from baby furniture to toys and clothes, is a popular way for people to cut the costs of kitting out their children.
Kylie Sjoberg, who has a five-year-old and 18-month-old, and her mother Lynne Vanduren, were selling pre-loved toys.
''This is the second stall I've done,'' Ms Sjoberg said.
''I hope this time I don't find out I'm pregnant nine days after holding the stall like I did last time.''
Ms Sjoberg said the Kidspot Baby and Kids Market were a good way to clear out cupboards and create extra space at home.
''If you have an overwhelming amount of things to sell, it is a very good way to get rid of it all because people can come and have a look through,'' she said.
''If you only have a few bits and pieces, it's easier to give them to charity.
''But it's nice to get to see who will love these things next.''
Ms Vanduren said she had nine grandchildren and was selling her toys that they had grown out of.
''Last time we brought a lot of clothes to the market but next time I think I would bring older kids' clothes and always for the season we are about to go into. So, winter clothes now, for example.''
Ms Sjoberg said she usually picked up a few things for her children at the markets but had to practise some restraint.
''I have to be careful not to walk out with more things then I came in with,'' she said.
