The slights were prompted by a motion Mr Hanson intends to move in the ACT Legislative Assembly in relation to public service job cuts, a national issue.
It comes a week after Mr Rattenbury attempted to raise another national issue, asylum seekers, and was criticised by the Liberal politician for doing so.
“Mr Hanson condemned me for raising a federal issue in the assembly, yet this week the Liberal Party are bringing forward two motions addressing federal issues,” Mr Rattenbury said.
“… It is Mr Hanson’s blatant double standard that should be condemned.”
However the Opposition Leader said his intentions to call on assembly to reaffirm support for public servants was a local issue.
“I fail to see how employment in the ACT isn’t something we should be talking about in the Legislative Assembly,” he said.
“All sides of the assembly have talked about it.”
Mr Hanson said he didn’t regret his comments last week, saying he stood by his accusation that the Greens member had tried to launch a disgusting and “callous political stunt”.
Mr Rattenbury had unsuccessfully proposed a resolution requiring the ACT Government to write to Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Opposition Leader Tony Abbott expressing grave concerns at the treatment of asylum seekers, including the transfer or refugees to PNG and Nauru.
“The federal government's approach to asylum seekers is a national disgrace and represents a new low in a race to the bottom of lowest common denominator politics,” Mr Rattenbury told the Assembly.
Mr Hanson also accused Mr Rattenbury of attempting to use the refugee issue to wedge left-wing votes from Labor to help Greens Senate candidate Simon Sheikh.
