Canberra will play against Arawang in a top-of-the-table clash in their round six game at Lyneham on Friday night.

Arawang has won four games in a row, but Collis said Canberra's positive attitude would help them secure top spot on the ladder.

"We're really enjoying playing together, we're really enjoying training together.......we're creating a really good culture, not just in our division but across the whole club," Collis said.

"We're expecting it to be a really tough game and we're going to have to put in a really solid four-quarter performance to beat [Arawang].

"We don't take anyone for granted. They have some really solid shooters, some strong mid-court players and some very strong defenders so we're just focusing on playing our best netball and not letting them get into our heads."

Canberra has started the season in the best possible way, winning five from five and riding high on confidence after thumping South Canberra 67-33 last week.

Collis said defender Shannon O'Connor had been a standout in the first five rounds of the season.

"It's a really solid team performance at the moment but defensive-wise Shannon O'Connor has just been playing out of her skin and is really putting in a solid defensive efforts and setting up for us really nicely," Collis said.
