One half of a couple accused of kidnapping and assaulting a man is free to go after a jury acquitted her on all charges, while it found her partner guilty on four of the six charges against him.

Nigel Barlow, 37, and Janelle Lewis, 33, faced trial in the ACT Supreme Court over several weeks accused of entering a man's Richardson house on the morning of July 7 last year.
It was alleged they had assaulted the victim inside the house before driving him to a Wanniassa unit and chaining him to a stool.
Barlow faced further assault charges over allegations he hit the victim outside, and then assaulted him while he was chained to the stool.
On Thursday, a jury acquitted Lewis of all four charges, including aggravated burglary, assault, kidnapping and unlawful confinement.
The court had heard it was Barlow who drove the car and chained the victim to a stool in the unit, but Lewis had been charged on the basis there was an agreement between the pair to commit the offences.
The jury also returned verdicts of not guilty for Barlow over the allegations he entered the house and assaulted the victim.
But the jury found Barlow guilty on the remaining charges, that he assaulted the victim outside, took him away in a car and chained him to a stool in a bathroom where he kicked the victim in the head.
Lewis, who has been in custody for much of the trial, was free to leave court on Thursday, while Barlow remained in custody.
Justice Hilary Penfold ordered a pre-sentence report and a court alcohol and drug assessment report for Barlow.
The matter will return to court in December for sentencing.
