Police are hunting for a man who robbed the Kingston Hotel bottle shop at knifepoint over the weekend.

The robbery happened on Saturday afternoon about 2.30pm, when the man entered the bottle shop on the corner of Giles and Oxley Streets, produced a knife, and demanded cash from the shop assistant.
The man then left the shop with a sum of cash and turned right, heading towards Oxley Street.
Police are calling for witnesses to come forward, and are specifically looking for two women who entered the bottle shop soon after the robbery. Police believe the women may have seen the offender leave the premises, and may be able to assist in the investigation.
The offender is described as Caucasian in appearance, 170cm tall (5'7") with a medium build. He was wearing a red and black hooded top, blue tracksuit pants with two white stripes down the side and black sunglasses.
