Labor have promised to create a new nurse and allied health clinical school at the University of Canberra, while the Greens pledged to better fund healthy weight initiatives, mental health services, boost nursing numbers, and build new walk-in centres in Dickson and Weston Creek.

The Liberals, meanwhile, are set to announce they would prioritise a new shopping centre for Molonglo, something they say is desperately needed for the new and growing region.
All three major parties will make further election pledges on Wednesday, and Labor appear intent on keeping the focus on health.
Labor says it would create a $2.3 million clinical school at the University of Canberra, if re-elected.
The school would train nurses and allied health professionals, with teaching facilities at the Canberra Hospital and in the new UC Public Hospital.
Labor says a key feature of the school would be the use of "enhanced clinical simulation equipment", and the appointment of a full-time professor.
It would also invest $1 million a year for three years for research into areas including cancer, diabetes, cardiology, mental health, dementia, and palliative care.
The Liberals will use Wednesday to announce they would release a block of land for Molonglo's future shopping centre to market by 2017.
The block is already earmarked for the shopping centre, but the Liberals want to speed up its release.
Liberal leader Jeremy Hanson said the shops were badly needed for the growing Molonglo region, and would also help to ease the pressure on the next closest shopping centre, Cooleman Court.
The Greens used Wednesday to unveil their health package, which includes investing $1million in new funding for the healthy weight initiative, and better targeting the program to ensure it is genuinely focused on obesity, cardiac disease, and type two diabetes.
They would also open walk-in centres in Dickson and Weston Creek, and would seek to further expand their hours and types of treatments.
ACT Greens health spokesperson Indra Esguerra said the preventative health strategy was designed to relieve pressure on Canberra's hospitals.
"Putting the community first means keeping people healthy and out of hospital – not just treating them once they're sick," Ms Esguerra said.
"We know that the ACT hospitals' emergency departments are struggling to respond to the needs of many patients, but the solution is not just to build more hospitals. It must also be to keep Canberrans out of hospital in the first place."
The Greens would also create an office for mental health, which would co-ordinate services to ensure patients don't fall through the cracks, and provide independent reports and advice to government on failings and successes of the system.
The party also wants to set a suicide reduction target to reduce deaths by 50 per cent by 2025, set up a suicide expert committee, similar to the current child death review committee, and push for the creation of a national suicide register.
The Greens are also expected to announce their clean energy strategy on Wednesday, which will chart a path to an ambitious target of carbon neutrality by 2030, 20 years earlier than is currently being pursued.
