A driver has escaped unscathed after his ute left the road and hit a concrete bridge on the Barton Highway near Murrumbateman on Saturday afternoon.

The accident occurred about 1 kilometre south of Nanima Road just after noon, with NSW Ambulance, Police, Fire Brigade and ACT Ambulance attending the scene.

A witness reported seeing a man bleeding from the head who then left the vehicle of his own accord and was walking around.
The man was assessed for injuries but was not taken to hospital.
