A man threatened a 20-year-old with a machete in Wanniassa on Saturday morning, according to ACT Policing.

Police said the incident took place around 8.05am on Gaunson Crescent.
The threatened man reportedly ran away from the scene up Cruikshank Street.
Police said the man dropped his mobile phone and headphones as he fled the scene although police later recovered these.
The man with the machete was reportedly wearing black pants and a black hooded top pulled close over his head and a bandana.
Police said they suspect he was driving a two-door dark-coloured Honda sedan.
