The Magpies in-and-under midfielder won the 2013 Mulrooney Medal, as the best and fairest in the NEAFL eastern conference, at Woden Tradies on Friday after a dominant Canberra homecoming.
He polled 21 votes to win easily by five from runner-up Kaine Stevens, from Queanbeyan.
It comes on the back of Bennett's best-and-fairest award for SANFL club North Adelaide last year.
His return to the club he grew up playing for was an instant success and his ability to win the hard ball has been a major reason behind Belconnen's berth in Sunday's eastern conference grand final at Kippax Oval.
Bennett averaged 36.6 disposals per game, including six tackles and 9.3 clearances, and also has the ability to push forward – averaging more than one goal per game.
Ainslie's Josh Bennett, no relation, took out the goal kicking award with 61 majors.
While Tuggeranong might have played their last NEAFL game, Hawks utility Brent Macleod took out the Rising Star Award, despite being severely hampered by injury for a lot of the season.
Belconnen centre half-forward Andrew Dess kicked goal of the year against Ainslie in round 19, while Ainslie wing Marcus Crook took mark of the year against Queanbeyan in round eight.
Magpies playing coach Matthew Lokan was named coach of the year after guiding Belco into the decider in just his second season in charge.
Brent Pawley was named umpire of the year.
