The piling rig, which was being used as part of the Majura Parkway project, remained in a sloping position in the Molonglo River, next to the Sylvia Curley Bridge joining the Monaro Highway and Moreshead Drive in Fyshwick on Wednesday afternoon.

It is understood that no workers were hurt in the incident.
