Steven James Thompson, 38, is currently on trial in the ACT Supreme Court facing charges of robbery, burglary, theft, unlawful confinement, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

Thompson, represented by lawyer Jacob Robertson, has denied the charges against him, and is disputing the woman's claims.

The woman began her evidence on Thursday, the second day of the trial.

She said she had met Thompson at a friend's house last year, and the pair had taken the drug ice together at her home for several days in December.

The woman said she witnessed Thompson in her neighbour's backyard, passing two televisions over the fence.

She said she watched as he put items in the back of her car, before they drove off together.

They later arrived at a unit with another man, she said, where Thompson allegedly demanded she hand over her bag.

She alleges Thompson asked the other man to "get the knives" and to sharpen them.

The woman alleges Thompson put a knife to her throat, and asked her for the jewellery she was wearing.

"He said he'd rip my daughter's eyes out and that I could dig the hole that she was going in," she told the court.

"I don't remember the words.

"I didn't hesitate in taking the jewellery off."

The woman alleges he then forced her to sign a receipt for her car, before taking it from her.

She went to the police, and told them where to find some of the property that had been taken.

Thompson was later arrested and charged.

The trial continues before Justice Hilary Penfold on Friday in the ACT Supreme Court.
