A man allegedly ran his pregnant girlfriend off the road and broke several of her teeth by repeatedly ramming her car with his ute, a court heard.

The man appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with recklessly inflicting actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, driving in a menacing manner and driving with drugs in his system.
Documents tendered in court said the pair had an argument before driving to the defendant's mother's house in Fisher on Sunday afternoon.
The police allegations said a person mowing his lawn saw the man's orange Ranger and the woman's black Commodore travelling alongside each other.
The Ranger then allegedly drove across and crashed into the right hand side of the Commodore. The woman continued driving and the man allegedly swerved and again crashed into her car.
The momentum of the collision caused the man's Ranger to spin around and face the Commodore, crash into a light pole and then both vehicles were brought to a stop.
The woman was 30 weeks pregnant at the time of the incident.
The police allegations said the woman broke several teeth on her steering wheel in the crash and was taken to the Canberra Hospital.
Nearby home owners and passersby came to her help and called emergency services.
The man returned a positive result for drugs, the allegations said, and admitted to police he had used cocaine the night before.
The defendant told police the collision happened because he was travelling behind his girlfriend when she suddenly braked and swerved to try and avoid crashing. He said that caused him to hit the light pole, and for her car to collide with his ute.
The man applied for bail, which the prosecutor argued against on the grounds that he might interfere with witnesses.
The man's lawyer, Edward Chen, said strict bail conditions would be the proportionate response to the alleged offences and could mitigate any potential risks. However, Magistrate Peter Morrison decided to not grant bail and remanded the man in custody.
He said if the offences were proven, the man faced a significant term of imprisonment and he couldn't be satisfied the man would abide by any potential bail conditions.
As he was led out of court be ACT Corrections officers the man called to supporters in the court room, "Tell her I love her, look after her".
The man will return to court next month.
