Police said a patrol at Colinton attempted to stop the driver for speeding before the vehicle accelerated harshly in the opposite direction.
They said that after losing control of his vehicle and crashing through a fence into a paddock, the driver returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.143.
Police Inspector Rooney said in a statement "the fact that the driver was travelling on our roads at speed whilst intoxicated and failed to stop for police is alarming. The fact that his young daughter was in the car at the time is extremely concerning."
The driver will face Cooma Local Court on April 22.
