Police say two men assaulted the man in front of Elite Supplements in Gungahlin, on the corner of Efkarpidis Street and Gungahlin Place West, between 6.30pm and 7pm.

One of the offenders was dressed in a black T-shirt and black tracksuit pants, while the other was wearing a blue and white T-shirt and shorts.

Police say they believe there would have been witnesses to the assault and urged them to come forward.
