A 21-year-old man will appear before the ACT Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning after being charged with the aggravated robbery of a Holt supermarket.
An ACT Policing statement said the man, who has no fixed residence, was arrested after police pulled over a vehicle at 3.15am Wednesday morning.
It is alleged the man entered the IGA store in Holt at 11am on Saturday morning carrying a knife, and threatened staff as he demanded cash and cigarettes. The staff member complied with the demands.
Police say they will oppose bail.
