Man left unconscious and bleeding after assault in Braddon

Police are searching for four men after an assault last Saturday which left a man unconscious and bleeding in a Braddon street.

Officers said the assault took place at about 1am at the corner of Lonsdale and Elouera streets, where a man and a woman were attacked by a group of men.

The men began to harass the female victim after she asked one of them about their injured leg, which was in a brace.

Police said when her partner tried to intervene, he was punched repeatedly by the man with the brace.

Police said a second offender then assaulted the woman, who fell to the ground.

When police attended the scene, they found the man unconscious and bleeding.

The men were believed to have attended Hopscotch the night the assault occurred.

The first offender has been described as caucasian with blonde hair and wearing a navy blue top and a full leg brace on his right leg.

The second offender has also been described as Caucasian with brown hair, about 173cm tall and wearing a white singlet.
